Where is O.K. Ice Cream located?
1129 Decatur Street in the French Quarter, New Orleans, LA 70116. We're about a five minute walk from Jackson Square, right on Decatur between Governor Nicholls and Ursulines. Look for the red and white O.K. Ice Cream sign.
What are your hours?
We're open Sunday through Tuesday and Thursday from 1 PM to 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 1 PM to 10:30 PM. We are closed on Wednesdays.
Can I order delivery or pickup?
Yes. We're on Uber Eats and Postmates for delivery, and you can also order ahead for pickup. Head over to our order page for direct links to both platforms.
What kind of ice cream do you serve?
We serve Quintin's all-natural ice cream, made right here in New Orleans since 1998. All-natural means no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and no preservatives. We rotate over 20 flavors, and you can check our flavors page to see what's currently available.
What are Screamers?
Screamers are our signature ice cream sandwiches. You pick your ice cream flavor, then we sandwich it between fresh-baked cookies, brownies, or cake slices. They're made to order so everything is fresh.
Do you have dairy-free or vegan options?
Yes. Our Southern Strawberry Sorbet and Mango Tango Sorbet are both dairy-free. They're made with real fruit and no dairy ingredients, so they work for vegan diets too.
Do you have milkshakes?
Yes. Our milkshakes are hand-spun to order with your choice of any ice cream flavor. You can add toppings to customize yours.
What is your frozen coffee?
We blend premium coffee with Quintin's all-natural coffee ice cream. It's a frozen coffee that's honestly more dessert than coffee drink, and it's perfect for a hot New Orleans afternoon.
Do you have seating?
Yes, we have indoor seating. You're also welcome to take your ice cream to-go and enjoy it walking down Decatur Street or sitting along the riverfront, which is just a couple blocks away.
Is O.K. Ice Cream good for kids?
Absolutely. We have a kid's scoop option, and because all our ice cream is all-natural with no artificial flavors or colors, parents can feel good about what their kids are eating. The Cookie Monster flavor is always a hit with the younger crowd.
